French goûter for kids... and you!

This is probably one the easiest and most kid friendly recipe ever. A 5 years old is "kind of" able to do it by herself with little supervision. We call it "gateau au yahourt", it's basically a simple yogurt cake that I sometime make on Saturday morning as a treat, served warm with butter and jam. Most french household makes (or use to) this kind of cake for "le goûter" (afternoon snack). It has pass on to generations because of it's simplicity and good taste...

You will need:
- 1 single plain yogurt pot like activia
keep the pot, it become your measurement for the recipe.
- 1 pot of yogurt
- 2 pots (or little less for my taste) of sugar
- 2 pots of flour
- 1 pot of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- vanilla extract
- pinch of salt

Preheat oven 200°C
- Mix yogurt and sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla
- Add oil
- Add flour, baking powder and pinch of salt
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, and bake for 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean. Serve warm with some butter and jam... just or plain with a cup of coffee. Enjoy, bon appetite!
